5Best product around for eliminating animal urine odor!  Oct 21, 2006
By Gwyna Jordan "gwyna - sit down and create"
I have an elderly cat with bladder problems. I wanted to eliminate the urine odor and not eliminate the cat. Bac-Out was recommended to me at the health food store and I was amazed at the results! In the past I used a white vinegar/water solution, but Bac-Out works even better. I have used it on carpet (no stains!) and bedding with excellent results.

I have also used Bac-Out to wipe down walls and it eliminated "smoker smell" from an apartment I moved into. I buy it in bulk and use it often. I love this product so much, I've even shared it with friends.

5Best stain & odor product for cloth diapers  Sep 05, 2006
By K. Levin
This is the best product I've found to remove stains and odors from cloth diapers. You can imagine the types of stains and odors I mean!

I also use this product regularly for food spills, grass/dirt and blood on fabrics. It works very well, doesn't leave any perfume-y smells of its own, and doesn't give me or my son any skin or other allergic reactions. I am very sensitive to chemicals and perfumes, so this product should be safe for most other people to use as well.

I've had to buy this product in only a 16 oz size at my local "natural" grocery store, and this price is MUCH better. For diapering, a 32 oz bottle should last about one month if, like me, you apply this product to every dirty diaper before putting it in the laundry pail.

5GREAT product--just don't buy it on Amazon.  Sep 24, 2009
By E. Groff
Bac-out is the best stain and odor remover I've ever used. We use it for everything--animal messes, cloth diapers, rug cleaning, scrubbing the kitchen sink...you name it, Bac-Out does it. It even gets out cat pee, and anyone who's ever had to deal with that knows it's almost impossible. A small amount cleans a whole lot, and it's nice to know you aren't doing much harm to the environment, either.

However, NEVER buy this on here unless you want to pay for the shipping. I've ordered the 12-pack 3 times using Super Saver Shipping, and all three times my order was canceled because it got damaged in shipping. Canceled--not "oh, sorry, we screwed up and will reship it to you"--just plain canceled. Twice I called and had to spend half an hour getting them to reship it to me. Granted, both times it got here after the phone call, but I expect much more than that from Amazon. The third time, I gave up and found another (and cheaper, amazingly) place to buy it. If you want a whole case, I HIGHLY suggest trying another online store--there are several that offer free shipping AND actually get it to you without any run-around.

5best stain remover ever  Jan 11, 2009
By 2 Big Dogs & a Boy
I've read about natural enzyme cleaners for years but did not begin using them until I had my son. We had decided to do cloth diapers as we got all of the stuff for free from my sister. Anyway after Googling for info on what to clean out the diapers with, I read about Bac-out, so I bought a bottle at my local WholeFoods. My synopsis is this: Bac-out is incredible for any organic stain. I just used it yesterday on oil & vinegar dressing I spilled on my sweater... the stain came right out. Works great for the occasional dog mishap as well. I highly recommend it and I currently buy it by the case from Amazon...at least till we are out of diapers!

5Great for those cloth diaper smells...  Jan 09, 2009
By J. Davis
I was using the Bumgenius Odor Remover to stop the odor from my Bumgenius cloth diapers. While it worked great, it was very expensive...I read about this stuff and LOVE IT! I do spray a little more than the Bumgenius Odor Remover on my diapers, but this stuff is still much much much cheaper and works great. Plus, it can be used for other household purposes. You can't beat eco-friendly products that work well.
