I purchased this organic cotton mattress protector to go on top of my Natural Mat Coco Mat. The material is thick and soft. Unfortunately the middle layer is made out of polyurethane. I've since returned it. I now use Naturepedic Waterproof Flat Crib Pad, 28x52. The waterproof layer is made out of food grade polyethylene.

I bought this mattress protector as we have a regular non-organic mattress and I wanted something natural for LO to rest on. This protector is very soft and has elastic bands that loop around the mattress corners (rather than acting like a fitted sheet) so is very easy to get on and off. It didn't shrink in the wash and dries fairly quickly. Great product.

When I purchased this I figured it would be some regular cotton ok mattress protector. NO way I was way wrong this mattress protector is the softest thing I have ever felt in my life! I could see my baby just sleeping on this instead of a sheet! It's super thick too! I'm super glad i purchased this because I want these to last through more than one kid.
