We ordered this because it was made without the awful chemicals 99% of mattresses contain in order to make them fire resistant. It seems like a nice mattress, although we can't use it because a month after delivery we are still airing it out. The stuff they use to make it fire resistant, although supposedly natural, has an odor that has yet to die down enough for us to let our son sleep on it. If you're not bothered by this type of thing, this should be a good product for you. But it seems like this might be a problem for many of the people who are looking for a natural choice...

I was looking for a relatively firm spring mattress, preferably made without synthetic materials.
It was for a senior with a chronic back pain.
Naturepedic representative confirmed over phone that this mattress was good for adults and children.
Ordered from S&D Kids through Amazon.
Good impression after a week. It is comfortable, firm, a little bit wider than the old twin it replaced.
