I love Biokleen dishwash liquid. I've been using it for years. Not only does it get my dishes wonderfully clean when I hand wash, but I also use it to fill liquid soap dispensers. It's effective and gentle enough to use as handsoap.
It is also the best dog shampoo I've ever tried! I have done a lot of fostering. Dogs coming straight out of dog pound or shelter stink. Badly. Wretchedly. With most other dog shampoos, you have to bathe the dog 2-3 times to get the shelter stench out of their coats. Not so with Biokleen dishwash liquid. The grapefruit seed oil cuts through the grime and stench and leaves the dog smelling clean and the coat is soft and very, very shiny. (It's also about 1/3 the price of most dog shampoos!)
So I can buy this one product and have dish soap, hand soap and dog shampoo!

This is the best dishwashing liquid I've ever used! My glasses get so shiney, I cannot believe it. That proves to me that it leaves no soap residue behind.
Remember it's not the suds that count. I does make suds but they don't last the longest. The dishes get super clean so there are no worries.
I let them soak (if needed)for about 15 minutes and then it's super easy washing.
It's also not harsh on your skin which I appreciate!!

I bought this product based on all of the good reviews and was rather excited when I finally received it. I mean who wouldn't be - the reviews promised a green dishwashing detergent that worked as well as the conventional products.
Maybe I'm too used to the conventional products, but I was greatly disappointed when I finally got to try out Biokleen. Unlike the conventional products, where you can do quite a bit of dishes with a small squirt applied to the sponge, with Biokleen you have to use an awful lot of the product for it to even lather up. And, the lather doesn't last very long so you constantly have to keep reapplying. I thought that the lather issue might be a green cleaner quirk and I tried to just keep washing dishes despite the lack of lather. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to work as the dishes seemed to retain a greasy film. My husband hated it so much he tried to throw it out, but I couldn't have that kind of wastefulness and ended up mixing it with conventional dishwashing detergent to get it used up.
Overall, I can't say that I recommend this product.

Love this dish soap. No stench like store products just mild citrus. Not a lot of 'foam' but keeps oil suspended for 3 washes per day. I only have veg. oil though, not heavy meat grease. This also is great multi purpose cleaner so don't need many products. Wish they had in one gallon container to save on bottle disposal.

My mom and I use this all the time and it works great. Reccommend it to anyone who goes green for the environment or chemical sensitivities.
