Best pacifier on the market! Aug 18, 2008
By K.Mathews
"westmama"
My baby LOVES this pacifier. We started off with Gerber Nuk, but after seeing this one I thought I'd give it a try. Now my baby won't even take the Nuk.
We are starting the slow process of weaning him from pacifier... currently we just give it to him at bed/nap time, even though we have other pacifiers around the house, since they aren't THIS paci he just ignores them.
The only negative is that they turn brown after a short time... and they bounce, so when they fall on the floor it can be hard to find them.

Don't actually have to replace that often Oct 08, 2010
By Emily I haven't had a chance to try this yet, but I like that it's all natural, one piece, and made to support breastfeeding (the large flat shield is large on purpose so it touches the baby's nose as in bfing - though this might not work well for all babies). I noticed a lot of reviewers mentioned how you have to replace it so often, which worried me at first, too, b/c of the price. But on the manufacturer's website, they say that while they have to have that recommendation on their packaging due to European standards, you don't actually have to replace it nearly that often. They also mention that it may whiten after sterilizing, but will return to its normal color in a few days, and that it may turn brown over time which is also totally normal b/c it's natural rubber and oxidizes. Just wanted to help clear things up!

Healthy and Awesome Mar 23, 2009
By DC Mom I found this pacifier while looking for BPA-free alternative. I worried my son would miss his familiar paci, but he took to this right away and seems even more serene with this one! So, not only is it better for him, he also loves it (and unlike the Born Free pacifiers, this one has a loop for a attaching the paci to clothes or car seat + softer!)

organic but not ergonomic, doesn't stay in mouth Aug 30, 2010
By asianprincess i bought this Natursutten pacifier because i like the fact that it is organic and doesn't contain BPA/PVC/latex, etc. however, my newborn didn't like it at all. the large circular base kept hitting his nose and making it fall out. the pacifier doesn't curve to fit baby's face, so it makes it even more likely to fall out. the large loop on the back also hits the surface when he turns his head to the side, which often makes the pacifier fall out as well. i ended up getting a Gumdrop, which is the newest version of the Soothie pacifier that most hospitals use. It dips where the the nose is, is curved to fit baby's face, and is also BPA/PVC/latex free. my newborn has loved it. i also find that the straight nipple shape of the Gumdrop is more natural than the curved shape of the Natursutten nipple, and helpful in preventing nipple confusion for moms who are breastfeeding.

Great for Teething Dec 22, 2009

My breast-fed, finger-sucking infant has no interest in conventional pacifiers. He likes the Natursutten pacifiers because they're easy to hold and great fun to chew on. He can easily put this pacifier in his own mouth and take it out as he pleases. He doesn't use the pacifier much for sucking, as he still prefers his fingers, but loves to chew on all parts of it. I have found it to be easy to clean and maintain (I oil it with extra virgin olive oil after washing it so that it looks like new). A little pricey but worth it for me.
