Disappointed Jan 25, 2012
By Nicole R Disappointed that this is MADE IN CHINA. Also the cord is awful, cheap nylon. What I received is NOT a necklace - the cord's two ends are separate and encased in plastic grommets, I guess you are supposed to tie them in a knot or supply your own clasp??
This was not cheap, and I am terribly disappointed. I'll be returning this. Had I known it was made in China I wouldn't have bought it in the first place - esp considering the price!
Great item for babies, looks and works great Jan 18, 2012
By Jonathan We purchased several of these for our friends and my wife. Our baby loves pulling on jewelry and can safely pull/teeth this without hurting himeself. My wife enjoys all the colors and is happy she can now wear jewelry again without endangering our baby.
They should hand these to you when they hand you the baby Dec 15, 2011
By brutalbarbie I got this right before my son's first teeth came in and we were going to be on a 5 hour flight. I stuck him in a Seven sling and he chewed on this the whole trip. One of the more useful things I bought for the baby. It looks ok. My son is usually in a sling so how much can you really see it. The clasp is a break away. My son started to be able to tug it off at 12 months.
Necessity is the mother of invention... Nov 27, 2009
By Victoria Satterfield I absolutely love this idea! As someone who nannied for years, I could definitely understand the need for this when I stumbled upon it on Amazon. My own 4 month old son likes chewing on it. The donut was larger than i expected but still very easy for him to grasp with his little hands. It's a nice thick, rubbery material that just begs to be chewed on. I have this in turquoise and think it could actually pass for real if someone weren't inspecting it too closely. I've seen a few reviews complaining about the clasp and I'd like to address that: Yes, it looks cheap - but it's also completely break-a-way. I can't tell you how many necklaces I've seen get broken because a curious baby started yanking on them. So, I see this as a good feature and definitely not something to deter anyone from buying one of these.
My baby loves this! Oct 10, 2009
By Amy Bumatay Tulley I love this necklace (the turquoise one). I wear it almost all of the time, and my baby loves to either play with it or gum it. Once I was walking in Cannery Row, a man commented, "Your necklace is so beautiful!" He obviously thought it was real!
