Its a great idea... But the type of rubber or whatever they made the teether out of attracts hair and fuzz really easily. So if you are a mom, grandma, or aunt that is a germ aphobe or the person your getting it for is, this is SO not for you.

I've bought several of these for my adult sister with Cerebral Palsy. She has a chewing habit and this is a perfect way for her to have something safe to chew with her constantly, and we love that it is stylish and doesn't resemble a pet toy. They have held up well, even with adult teeth chewing, and she loves to wear it.

My son and I love this - it does exactly what the product description says. It looks pretty good and my 8-month old boy loves to mouth and chew on this... the actual teether bit AND whatever bit of cord he manages to grab on to as well. So far it has been a huge help in getting us through church, dining out and a number of flights with minimal fussing. We mostly use it with me wearing it as a necklace, but it also makes a fun 'batting' toy if you dangle it in front of him or fasten it over his car seat handle (supervised of course).
I only gave this 3* for being a 'fun toy' and 'eductaional' because it's not really a toy or designed to be fun (!) and I'm not sure how educational you could say a teether was - these ratings are not at all meant negatively - it's just that what we're being asked to rate is somewhat irrelevant to the product itself.
Definitely a great buy and I've said on many occasions how very glad I was to have it. Not quite a 'must-have' item but almost!

This item was definitely not worth the $18 I spent for it. The concept of it is great as a teether, but my baby wouldn't touch it and I don't blame him. The rubber of the pendant attracts lint and dust like crazy! It pulls up stuff from your clothes, furniture and out of the air. I wore this once and took it off 2 hours later because I couldn't keep it clean. And even though my son wouldn't touch it, I'd rather him not chew on something so covered in fuzz and dust...

I bought black b/c it would go with the most things I figured. My baby loves it! It's pretty long for me - i'm 5'4" so i had to shorten it. But...warning! The black looks terrible as it picks up every fuzz and lint and just doesnt look shiny and pretty like this picture. I wouldve gone with a patterned one if i had known. nothing helps it look good either ... :(
