Very Functional Bracelet Jun 27, 2010
By smithpod I got a bangle and pendant on the recommendation of my sister. I got the mother of pearl since it's white and will go with most everything in my closet. My son loves them. He likes to play with them and chew on them. I make sure to wear them when going to a doctor's appointment or church because it keeps him occupied for a while and it's quiet. However, my sister got the moonstone ones and they looked nice...like real stone. The mother of pearl bangle looks like a bent hot glue stick...just plastic-y and kind of cheap...not like stone at all. The pendant looks nicer, but still like plastic. I would get one that's not just one color. Get one with specks in it...they look better.

By TexasDad My wife absolutely loves the Teething Bling Bangle for our daughter. It has been a life-saver whenever she is teething.

I purchased this as a special needs preschool teacher. I never wear jewelry because my kids just wanna chew on it and pull on it and I didn't want my "good stuff" ruined (not to mention it was dangerous for them to even have it in their mouth!). Well then I discovered this and decided to try it. I was very pleasantly surprised. It held up to the teeth of a 4 year old like steel! He didn't leave any teeth marks either. I got both the necklace and the bracelet and they are so easy to just wash with hot water and soap. Another thing, crazy but all the kids seem to like gravitate towards it. It's like they know it's for them. They spot it from across the room and have to tough it and pull on it. Also several of my kids have found comfort in touching it and holding it when upset about something. Like a pacifier. Hmmm
