 Wish she didn't but baby loves them May 21, 2012

These are expensive and a pain to clean but my daughter pretty much ONLY likes these bottles. If I could have I would have kept her from ever trying these bottles because once she was hooked it means cleaning 4 different pieces for the foreseeable future as well as overpaying for the foreseeable future.

We love the Born Free bottles. They were recommended by lactation consultants and for good reason- the nipples have a wide base and they are very low flow so they are ideal if you are still breastfeeding and want to encourage a nice, big latch.
The product features/product descriptions are wrong. These 9 oz. bottles come with 3 medium flow (level 2) nipples, not the level 1 that you'd use with a newborn. So be warned.
A general note about the flow- breast milk has a lot of fat content so temperature makes a big difference in how well it flows. For us, an upside-down bottle with level 1 will barely drip when it's cold and have a steady drip when it's warm. Level 2 is between a small drip and a thin stream.
