Terrible infant seat Nov 06, 2010
By 999999 We've had this for about 6 months now and i am so disappointed. It may be good for older kids, but it's awful for infants. It looks like it's fully adjustable, but it's not. It has two metal rods for support, but the sitting platform can't be moved below the first metal rod, so the tray sits way too low. It hits my son in the knees. Also the tray snaps in really loose. My son can actually kick it off with his feet. The infant insert helps, but it's held on by Velcro and if the seat isn't installed correctly, he can fall right out if he leans over. Also, if you want to adjust the chair, you first have to find your set of allen wrenches, then unscrew four bolts, it's such a pain! The straps are also very hard to adjust. About the only good thing i can say about this chair is it looks nice in my house and matches the furniture.
Quality Wooden High Chair Oct 11, 2010
By Dave, Dena & Emily The Keekaroo high chair is sturdy and easy to assemble. The tray takes two hands to get on and off, but that's not a problem since you can securely strap your kid in with the safety harness.
It's disappointing that when using the infant insert you can't adjust the chair to slide under a table. Also, you can't adjust it to allow more space between chubby baby legs and the tray. That said, though my daughter is very chubby, her legs do fit (barely).
The chair is easy to clean and, compared to the common plastic and vinyl alternatives, it looks pretty darn good. We've only been using it for two weeks (with our nearly 6 month old daughter), but so far, we love it!
