Necessary but painful to buy Jun 18, 2010 Okay, so you have to have this if you want to run with an infant seat, but you don't have to be happy about paying so much for a metal bar to use for a few months. Also, my 2 yo son likes to climb in and out of the stroller at the beginning and end of the runs. If I kept the cup holder on the side for the toddler, he couldn't climb in or out. I took the cup holder off (it is too small for any sippy cup I have anyway), and now he is happily to get in and out himself. Please also note that the bigger car seats now-a-days with all the cushion and padding don't fit very well. I had to get out my 2 year old Graco car seat to properly fit into the stroller with this infant seat adapter. So at the end of the day, the infant seat adapter works well with the right car seat, but I can't wait to take this thing off once my little one is old enough with good head control to be just in the stroller and not in the car seat during runs.
Note that the infant car seat adapter necessitates a metric hexagonal socket wrench to attach (I didn't need this for the single Bob infant car seat adapter) which meant a trip to the home improvement store for me---another $15 dollars or so.
Sorry if you have twins, but you can only use one infant seat at a time......
awful design Jun 05, 2010 - they are waaay too high to be useful as snack traps.
- once they get gross with soggy goldfish there is no way to clean them because they stay permanently attached. So unlike other strollers where you can easily pop out the snack tray and hose it off in the sink, this one stays gross & you have to do your best with wet wipes.
- it makes the folded configuration a little thicker
- if the kids are buckled, the tray is so high they can't reach it. (this goes with my first point)
- it is soooo difficult to install & one screw on mine constantly falls off so I finally just left it off.
- too expensive
- it's impossible for the kids to climb in. a 2 year old & 4 year old both have the same problem. they can't go under it because humans don't twist that way (even them who can climb on anything) so my 2 year old son tries to climb over it if I don't get to him quick enough & it gives me a heart attack each time I catch him trying that b/c
he'll fall & hit his head one of these days if I don't grab him quick enough. So I have to lift my heavy 4 year old & 2 year old in EVERY TIME. lift them in, lift them out, lift them in, lift them out. and it's not just a short lift, you have to lift them high up and they have to contort themselves to fit under it.
awful design. Bob folks - you gotta fix this. this design hasn't changed for years. Change the seats so they sit straight upright and add a snack tray that will funcion as a snack tray. I know you can do it :)
Good for kids of all sizes May 31, 2010 With a 2 yo and a baby on the way, this was a must. Little Eleanor can keep her snacks on her tray while the babe to be can sit safely in her car seat. Right now we're set up for 2 older kids since Eleanor and her friends like to go cruizin' in style. Yeah, it is unfortunate that the costs add up with BOB, but this was a must for us.

Bob infant carseat adapter for dualie May 07, 2010 This product was very disappointing. I bought it so that we could use it for twins, but this will only allow for one infant carseat. It was very misleading and I had to send it back.

Only holds one car seat Jan 27, 2010 Why on earth does this adapter hold only one car seat? It's for a DUALLIE. I have twins, and that renders this accessory completely useless to me. What a waste.
