 Work great in our glass bottles Sep 08, 2010
I've been using this set of brushes for our glass Born Free bottles for about a month now and they still look like they did when we got them. We probably wash 10 of those little 5 oz bottles a day and the brushes do a good job, though I wouldn't say the bottles are all that gross to start with. Both brushes are well-designed to fit into wide-mouth styled bottles or the nipples that fit on them and they reach all the corners of the bottle and every interior surface of the nipple. I'd give the set 5 stars but I haven't been able to see how they hold up after more than one month.

My brushes lasted 8 months or so. I loved these brishes for my Born Free Bottles. I don't like the bristly ones, because they spray water and soap (and sometimes gross, old milk!) all over the place. The sponge/foam brush gets into all the crevices and cleans really well without the mess. Highly recommended.

I use glass bottles and this soft foam brush cleans the inside very well. The handle makes it very easy to turn/rotate the brush in the bottle. Although it says the brush is for wide mouth bottles, I found it works well with regular bottles as well.

I have to agree with some of the other reviewers, this sponge starts tearing off after some vigorous bottle cleaning. Mine is still hanging on but I'm being careful with it until I can find a replacement.
Overpriced and Doesn't last Aug 28, 2009
The nipple brush, as many have said here, is overpriced and doesn't last... and you can't buy it separate from the bottle brush. Instead what I do is cut a regular kitchen sponge into strips and use that to clean the nipples. The kitchen sponge is cheap and cuts to a nice size to exactly fit the nipple, cleans it well, and I don't hesitate to throw them out once a week to ensure they stay sanitary.
I have to clean bottles daily for my son, who is in daycare, so I needed an effective cleaning method that won't break the bank. With this in mind I recommend using kitchen sponge strips over buying an expensive bottle brush that won't last.
