Eco drive Mar 28, 2008

This is a very nice watch. A fan of Seiko for 20+ years, I recently discovered the Citizen eco-drive watches, and now have 2. These things are cool..never have to worry about battery or winding. This is watch is perfect..not to dressy, not too thin (i know thin is all the rage, but i am not a fan), not too fat. Even the band is top quality, with a nice detail..ECO DRIVE engraved in the stainless steel buckle. As for accuracy..my older eco drive, and my wifes are dead on accurate. My other is a infantry style (also sold on amazon), i have had a year and wear it almost everyday and there is not one scratch on the crystal yet. I love these things

Stunning AND Environmentally Correct Feb 19, 2008
By J. Eason This is not a large and/or thick watch. The face is either black or metallic (like mercury) depending on how the light hits it. It needs neither batteries nor to be on your wrist for rewinding as it is solar powered (well, light powered - it does not need solar). The clean design and monochrome make it go with about anything. A really outstanding piece of art . . .

very classic for a smaller wrist i suppose Apr 28, 2008
By Ben Naime well, liked it, still like it. but passed it on, as it was too tiny for my taste. i am 6ft1, so shouldnt probably have bought it in first place. but it just looked so cool. and it also did in life.

Overall a good value Jul 13, 2008
By Christopher Gonske I am very happy with this watch. It is very lightweight and sharp-looking. Definitely best for guys with smaller wrists, though. I am very impressed with how well it keeps time; I've had this watch for a month and using the navy master clock as a reference ( http://tycho.usno.navy.mil/cgi-bin/timer.pl ) I think in all that time it was was fast by about 3 or 4 seconds. There are two minor complaints though. First of all, the date is a bit small and a little hard to see, and secondly, it is virtually impossible to see the hands in a dark theatre. If you can live with those two things, I definitely recommend this watch.

Never buy a battery again Nov 01, 2008
By K. B. Fenner This is a very attractive watch--looks very expensive for the price, and I find it easy to read for a dress watch. I wish it had glow-in-the-dark hands, and it would be perfect, but it has the features it has. I am a woman who wears size 8 (XL) gloves, and this watch looks great and proportional on me, and would look great--sporty and tailored-- on an average sized woman's hand as well as most men's. It is a smaller man's watch==perhaps a bit larger than "midsize"--the unisex category I often choose. The band has a few smaller notches than my fairly average wrist and many larger ones, so it would fit most wrists comfortably. I like this watch a lot....
