This watch is true to description minus one-the night illumination does not really hold long. Other than that I think this watch is great. It fits nicely, is not too heavy and looks great.

I received this watch at Christmas, 2009 and haven't taken it off since (I'm updating my old review, it's now April 29, 2010!). First, removing links to get a good fit was relatively simple, if you're familiar with the procedure in general, you shouldn't have to take it to a jeweler. Second, changing the time/date is simple. I've traveled back and forth from Pacific time to Eastern time and was surprised and pleased to find that I could "reverse" the time instead of having to go all the way around clock-wise to set the time correctly. Third, it's completely waterproof, no problem at all. I swim in it, I teach swim lessons while wearing it and have had several kids grab at it and it's withstood all of that. Everyone I work with is shocked that I wear it in the water. Fourth, the luminescent glow of the numbers and hands last well into the night, but not all night. If I wake up around 2am-ish, they're still glowing, but not so much around 5am-ish. Fifth, the only downside is that the underside of the watch band, where the clasp is, has gotten pretty scratched up but no one looks at the underside of the watch anyway. It still looks new and shiny from the top! :)
I love this watch, it's so much more professional than my previous solar-powered watch. It is very professional, but still casual enough to wear everyday, everywhere!

My husband bought this watch for me and I love it. If you are like me and can make a regular watch bettery go dead in a few weeks due to high acidity in your skin then this is the watch for you. I was extreemly pleased to find a watch that had all 12 numbers on it. Not a very easy thing to find now unless you want a digital watch. The only thing I wish was better is the face is a little small and the mens watch face was too big. I did get the ladys watch and love it. I can spend 10 min in the sun or just driving to work and the watch will stay charged for up to 6 months I am not sure if that claim is true as I never take it off.

This is a great watch. If you are looking for something stylish yet sporty (but not tooooo sporty), this is the watch for you. It's the perfect size for a lady's wrist and the best part about this watch is, you never have to change the battery. The hands will glow in the dark for hours after a good light bath and there are no any annoying ticking sounds from the hand movement. The center part of the band is brushed stainless steel while the outer edges of the band are shiny. The band will scratch fairly quickly, which over time will give the watch an overall worn look. If you don't like the "worn look" then don't buy this watch. The face is very durable, I have yet to scratch that part, and I am not careful with my watches. The clasp is very strong, comfortable, and easy to use. My husband adjusted the band using a minny screw driver by popping out the pins (follow the direction of the arrows on the band itself). Be sure to keep all of the extra links from the band in case you ever need them. Also, read the directions on how to sink the time with the day. It is important that the date knows when it is am and pm, otherwise if the date thinks it is pm when it is am, the date will change in the middle of the day.

I like the watch, accurate time, nice face. I really wanted a watch with military time and this one provided it as well as being classy.
My only problem is the band that even though it is stainless steel it already has multiple scratches. I have only just wore it for a week at work. I never subjected it to any abrasive surface. Very disappointing.
