Simply the best I've tried. I was happy with it right out of the box. I purchased the color "pale" and it is perfect for my skin tone. It is not white or very light for that matter. It doesn't have any pink undertones. It is more yellow and almost translucent. Love, love, love it. I went to other websites first to getter a better feel for the colors. It's hard to make a choice on color based on just the one picture on amazon. It goes on soft and smooth and doesn't contain any talc. It is made from clay and cornstarch. No scary chemical ingredients. It is good for oil absorption to prevent the shiny face. I will purchase again!

I liked the feel of this powder but the descriptions of shades was vary vague. I ordered the light shade and it was anything but light. It was quite dark for a lighter skin. When I called the company it was recommended that I try the medium. Too "iffy" in shade so I didn't order it. The company should offer samples of their shades for testing.

I use this powder alone, and it has buildable coverage. I was really worried about choosing the wrong color, so I went to the ecco bella website, and it has descriptions for each of the colors. I went by that, and the color matches my skin perfectly! Do not go by just the names of the shades, as they can be misleading (I would have normally chosen "light," but the "pale" ended up being the one for me). I am a lighter skinned Caucasian (not fair or pale, though, if you ask me) with some redness from acne, and the pale shade works great for me!

I have red hair and pale skin. I read the reviews and was unsure of what color to get. I ended up ordering the fair and it was perfect for the winter. It evened out my skintone without making me feel like I was wearing makeup. This product has less harmful ingredients than bare minerals and I believe it works as good or better. I'm ordering a slightly darker shade for the summer as I do get slightly darker.

I absolutely love this product! I had been looking for a good face powder for a long time and have finally found one that works without all the horrible chemicals. It gives excellent coverage that lasts, without being too heavy. I love the way that they have used minimal and recyclable packaging as well.
