nice bag for the price Aug 24, 2008
By Leona I'm really happy with this bag. Its good quality for the price, I have a bag almost just like it that cost twice as much on one of the more prestigous yoga sites. The embroidery on the shoulder strap matches even (which you also can't see in the pictures). I like the fabric because it feels durable like canvas but soft like a well worn pair of jeans. The color is nice and warm and I love the fish embroidery. The only complaint I would have is the bag should have been an inch or two deeper, which is where I took a star off for. I bought the hugger mugger natures collection standard size mat(sunset of course, which matches quite nicely) to go with it and even with the mat perfectly rolled the drawstring does not close the bag all the way. Which isn't a problem, unless its raining when your headed to class then you've got a mini funnel going on with your mat. Also there is some wiggle room for your mat while inside this bag, but not enough for props other than straps or a very thin rug or towel. I think the thicker sized mats would be a very tight fit as well.
The pocket also, decent sized to fit a few things like an ipod, change purse, or very thin wallet; but I wouldn't expect to cram too much in there. Basically if your looking for something to simply carry your standard sized mat in this would fit the bill, if you need more room you may want to pass.

Very nice looking bag ... durable, too ... Oct 23, 2009
By Steffan Piper
This is a very well-made and durable bag that is attractive and thoughtfully designed. I recently purchased this item with the mat as a combo deal and I'm very glad that I did.
I had resisted buying a mat bag for years as I thought they were just silly and a waste of a resource, but after enough years and experience you come to learn that one is necessary to keep junk off of your mat, helping to keep it clean.
Taking the time to clean the mat is essential and after you clean it the bag stops others from carelessly damaging it while it's somewhere inside the car and out of sight. This obviously extends the longevity of the mat. Pretty simple, yes?

yoga mat bag May 26, 2009

This product is made of good, solid material, but it was too small for my yoga mat with fur (i practice Kundalini Yoga,) so I had to return it. I also think it is a little pricey, but like I said, the quality seems strong.

great yoga bag Feb 12, 2009
By S. Lee If you are looking for an inexpensive yoga bag that will last you, consider this bag. It has a great zipper pocket in the front for your wallet and keys. It has an adjustable strap and it looks great. Well worth every cent.
