""car buff""
Works exactly as advertised. Motor oil that doesn't wreck the planet. Great stuff.

Green Earth 2 Cycle Oil Aug 16, 2008
By R. Hypes Green Earth Technologies 01109 G Oil 2-Cycle Engine Oil 16 oz
I purchased 6 of these to use in a new scooter. Works fine with the engine. Good price. Doesn't hurt to save some cash and help the planet too.
Newer Formulation is much better, but no fuel stabilizer included Nov 26, 2011
By Matt Miles I've been using this product for 2 years now, and this year, it hit the shelves of Wally World with a new formula. The first immediate thing I noticed was that it was dyed green... it used to be brown. I like the added coloring as it's pretty clear you're pouring two-stroke into your tank. When it burns it's got a slight "grilling" smell to it. I've been running it in a Poulan/Craftsman leaf blower, which is known for ring issues. No problems for 2 straight years using this oil. I'm also using it in a weed-eater, a Husqvarna string trimmer, a harbor freight generator and a tecumseh snowblower. It's fluid at all temps, keeps these 2 stroke motors at peak performance and provides reduced emissions. I always mix it with 93 octane fuel and add G-Fuel stabilizer.
I feel this 2 cycle oil works better than anything on the market. I do have one small "beef" with it though. Green Earth Technologies makes a fuel stabilizer, but they don't include it as a part of this oil. With today's ethanol-laced fuel, a fuel stabilizer is a necessary evil. It's an added step, and all but the lowest end 2 cycle oils on the market today offer fuel stabilizer included. For this reason, I took one star away.
Good product - just store it indoors during winter Jun 16, 2010
By Man from Nantucket This oil smokes much less than other 2-cycle oils that I've used. The only problem I've had is that it starts to solidify when it's stored in cold temperatures. I went to mix gas for my snow blower last winter and the oil was full of clumps. That surprised me because the attached garage that it was stored in never gets below 35 degrees fahrenheit. I will continue to use this oil, but I'm going to keep it stored indoors during the winter.
I love this oil. Jun 14, 2010
By C. M. Plante When I was researching mopeds in March and April of 2009, one of the things I was looking into was the type of oil they used. After reading about dozens of brands and types, I stumbled across a few comments about GET-G, and was immediately intrigued. I'm not an environmental activist, but I do try to "do my part" by minimizing my impact on the environment in various ways. Historically, mopeds have not been represented as being environmentally friendly, specifically because of the way they use oil (burned along with the gasoline and/or expelled with the exhaust), so when I read that this oil was manufactured from animal fats and was biodegradable, I decided to give it a fair try.
I've been using this oil in my moped for over a year, and have just passed 1000 miles. In that time, the piston has never seized, not even when I was running it at full throttle for up to ten minutes. There is no perceptible smell produced by the oil, either. The package says, "No Smoke". It does produce an almost imperceptible amount of smoke, but it's less than half of what you'd see from a person exhaling smoke from a cigarette. And spills are never an issue, this stuff cleans up with simple soap and water, and is biodegradable anyway.
There is one caveat, for which I detracted one star. If this oil gets cold, below freezing, it congeals and has to be warmed up again before it returns to a fluid state. That makes it slightly less viable for moped riders who want to keep a small bottle of oil with them for on-the-go fuel stops (which i do). But it doesn't separate from the gasoline in the tank, even when cold, so it's not a serious drawback, more a matter of expediency. Just remember to warm up your bottle beforehand, or keep it in a warm place, and you shouldn't have any problems.
Other than the congealment in cold weather, I've been quite pleased with this oil. I initially purchased a single quart from another place, to test it, and was satisfied enough to purchase six pints through Amazon. That will be enough to keep my moped running smoothly for at least another three years. When my on-hand supply runs out, I intend to go all the way and buy an entire case. If that doesn't convey my satisfaction well enough, I doubt anything else I could say would be sufficient.
