 Well thought out - nicely made. Jun 07, 2010
This is a sturdy, nicely made toy set.
The beauty of this toy is that it does nothing, but it begs to have something done to and with it.
When I gave it to my 3-year old nephew on his birthday, he opened it, then threw aside
his high-tech, battery operated gifts and focused his attention on this attractive Tool Set; and kept it there for
some time after . A winner!

We bought this for our 8 month old son. He loves it!
Highlights:
- The packaging is adorable.
- The toolbox holds all the tools (and more)
- Sturdy
- Cute "labeling" on the toys
- Eco friendly
I wish...
- it came with more stuff (some more nails and/or screws would be nice)
- it was a little cheaper. =)
Overall, a great buy. Our little one will definitely enjoy this toy for a whiiiile.
Durable and teaches dexterity Feb 16, 2010
I got this tool set for my 21mo grandson months ago and they've endured a lot! He's a bit of a klutz, bless him, but he also has a habit of intentionally stomping on his toys (we're working on that!) and although the tools slide like oil out from under him, he's yet to break or even scratch any of 'em. Even the saw, which he enthusiastically uses on an iron daybed, looks like new! Early on he became fascinated with the nuts and bolts, and taught himself to screw them in/out of the blue pieces using both screwdrivers, showing surprising dexterity and patience. A new dimension to the fun is recently discovering the tools' designs make cool imprints in play-doh!

Our 4 year old granddaughter has played with this set a lot! She always finds new uses for the tools and repairs everything in sight. No need to tell her what tool is for what job. Very good playset, well made, and supports creativity. Another good feature is all the parts store in the toolbox. Amazon made it easy to choose from a variety of sets.

My son is a little young for the screws in this toy, but I think that if he was much older he would not enjoy it. I liked this product, because it was recycled. I would purchase this again for a little boy, but I think that after about a 2 year old, they would not be entertained.
