For those who appreciate the ritual and efficacy of a wet shave, this product is essential. Pleasantly scented to match similar preparations in the L'Occitane range, it guarantees an amazingly close and comfortable shave with any instrument from a straight razor to a Gillette Mach-3, leaving one's face incredibly smooth and supple. It is best paired with L'Occitane shave soap, in cake or tube, and a good badger hair brush.

Pleasant aroma and great shave. Seemed a bit expensive compared to other products on Amazon but realized when it arrived it is a bigger bottle than the other stuff I have bought in the past. Recommended. Try it instead of foam or gel, you'll be pleasantly surprised (and so much better for traveling with!)

This is it. A perfect gift for him.
I bought this shaving oil for my extremely picky husband as a birthday gift 5 years ago. He never changed to other product since.
Read the instruction first. You suppose to rub the oil on your skin first and then add regular shaving cream or gel on top of it. The result is great. The skin is smoothing like baby. Remember, shaving oil first, and TELL him so he will apply it properly.
