 BEST BINKY EVER!!! JUST LIKE THE GERBER SOFT CENTER BIGGER BULB! Sep 03, 2010
We bought every binky known to man for my daughter, and she was not having ANY of them. I could tell she wanted one, but just couldn't find the right way to suck on any. By the grace of god, we found one our first daughters binkys mixed it with her baby clothes. She took right to it. We were so happy. It was the gerber soft center pacifier in the big round bulb shape. I looked for 5 months EVERYWHERE for the same binky. No luck. I even called gerber, and the lady lied to me saying they never sold a bigger version of this kind of binky. She said it must have swollen to that size. Please. I have read quite a few blogs about other moms trying to find the same bigger version. Makes me wonder what they are hidding....I was so frustrated and ready to give up. Finaly I came across this site and it looked very similar to hers. After I read 2 reviews saying the same thing about the gerber binkys, I thought it was worth a try. As soon as I gave it to her, she loved it!! YEA!!! I also love the fact that it is one piece and natural. I have read about another mommy who has this for her kids and she says you most certianly can go longer then 4-6 weeks to replace.

 Not the Natural "Soothie" I Had Hoped For Aug 02, 2010
I bought this hoping that my newborn baby would like it as much or more than his Soothie pacifier. He hates it. I think the nipple is the main problem. I bought the round one because my son is exclusively breastfed, but he spits it out and fusses each time I try. Given that this has to be replaced after a month and is expensive, I would not recommend it if you already have found something that works.

This pacifier is sturdy-molded all in one piece. I bought one of the more expensive rubber ones when my grandson was younger and the spot, right behind the nipple, collapsed and stuck together. I like the way this was made much better. Blake loved it too (my grandson).

I bought this paci because I loved the idea of a natural pacifier, and wanted to get away from the Soothie which my son loves. He is exclusively breastfed and loves to suck which is why a good pacifier is a must have in my house. When I got it and tried to give it to my one month old he spit it right back out. After many attempts he did end up trying to suck it for a bit, but the diameter of the base of the pacifier is too small for him and he couldn't get a proper latch. It sounded like he was sucking in air as he was using it which is never a good thing. The diameter is actually smaller than any pacifier I've seen thus far and I'd be surprised if any breastfeeding mom's nipple is that small. The whole nipple was oddly shaped in my opinion. This pacifier covers up more of his face than the Soothie which I don't like. I did like that it was light and very bendable, and I didn't notice a rubbery smell at all. However, I'll be sticking with the Soothie, or the Playtex Binky.

After Gerber changed their latex pacifiers with the rounded ends, I went through literally pacifier after pacifier trying to find one my son would take so I could get some sleep. These are absolutely the only ones he will take. The only bad thing about them is they are VERY expensive. However, it's worth it to get a good night's sleep.
