Description:

Numi perfects the classic breakfast tea with this organic black tea blend, Morning Rise. Four of the most extraordinary black teas compose this hearty, complex, and exciting morning cup. Ceylon, gardened in the small and exotic country of Sri Lanka, bestows its strong yet smooth profile, while Indian grown Assam imparts a malty and robust depth. Keemun, from China, offers deep burgundy notes that complement the natural floral finish and fruity Muscatel of Darjeeling, cultivated on the mountain peaks of India. This rich, bold black tea blend has an unrivaled smoothness and a magnificent aroma resembling dawn's early warmth. Let the morning greet you through the radiant daybreak of Numi's superior Breakfast Blend. 5Love this tea  Oct 18, 2010
By Barbara Cash
This is a very nice mellow tea for the morning. I add milk and it still has a nice flavor, not at all bitter. The price is also excellent. I follow directions and time the brewing to five minutes. I also like that it is organic and fair trade. I have bought it several times and will continue to do so.

5Absolutely fantastic black tea!  Apr 18, 2007
By R. Liddell
This is just great tea. Handles milk or soymilk and sugar without losing its distinctive taste. Get yourself a good loose leaf tea infuser and enjoy! This and Bau Mu Dan are my favorite Numi teas so far.

4Good breakfast tea  Jul 10, 2008
By S. Sessions
The Numi breakfast blend is a very good tea. We brew a pot of tea every morning using a wire mesh basket for the loose tea. Ultimately, we were looking for great tasting tea that had large enough leaves that they didn't sift through the basket. Lipton loose tea is much too fine (and isn't all that great). My favorite is from Frontier Coop (the tea is excellent, and the leaves are quite large), and they get 5 stars. Numi's leaves are a bit smaller, which is why they only get 4 stars. Over all, however, this is a great tea and the leaves are large enough to stay in the basket.

My main comment for the review is to help others who are searching for a loose leaf tea that doesn't sift through the brew basket. It is hard to comment on taste since everyone has their own.

5Excellent black tea blend  Jul 05, 2007
By J. Conway
Numi's breakfast blend tea is my absolute favorite black tea. It has a robust flavor and brews very well. The price on Amazon is also much better than buying from Numi direct. I recommend this tea to all tea lovers.

2Wish better leaves and strong taste  Jul 29, 2007
By J. Tu
Very excited when received but disappointed. The leaves are not in good condition and very weak taste. I would pay more to get better loose leaves or just buy tea bags, instead of this one. I guess with this price this product is competitive with tea bas though. Not a bad idea to get this one if you are looking for tea bags. Let me make it clear. They open the tea bags and put them in a big container.
