The Calveras sofa is covered with the Crypton ™ fabric which is soft and breathable. The fabric is a netural color and the legs are a java-brown with a waterbased finish. The frame is made with hardwood with bolt-in construction and the foam used in the cushions are a 1.9 density foam. The sofa is fully assembled and is made in the USA.

4Good Buy after problems with purchase  Jan 08, 2010

Update from prior review. Sofa came in with wrong pillows but was corrected by Amazon in about 10 days. It cleans easily which is why my wife picked this particular sofa (crypton fabric). Withstands dog and rambunctious children. It is VERY firm. We don't use the accent pillows. They just don't look right with the sofa and are as hard as rocks. Looks great in our living room. After the headache of buying, (AMazon took forever to credit us the difference in price- THREE PHONE CALLS to agents who were sometimes difficult to understand because of thick accents) over several weeks with repeated promises to credit to no avail ...I don't like Amazon's customer service when it comes to accounting.)
