 Too big for small dog May 16, 2010
Too big/too dense for Jack Russell. He tried to grab it, chew it etc. without success.
Cute but not for big dogs Mar 17, 2010
This is very cute, the dogs enjoyed it for about 3 days. After that it was destroyed! Oh, well. It was fun while it lasted (my dogs are 75 lbs & 90 lbs!).

I have a 15lb Jack Russell/Pug mix that spends his days bent on trying to destroy every dog toy that crosses his path. I have had great success with other Planet Dog toys so naturally I ordered this fun looking peppermint expecting it to last several months as opposed to the normal 10 minutes most dog toys can withstand. Unfortunately, this toy didn't last more than three weeks in our house. Our furry friend had great fun with this toy until he figured out how to dislodge one of the red pieces from the peppermint. Once he managed to do that the entire toy started to fall apart. Planet Dog has a 100% satisfaction guarantee, but I didn't take the time to contact their customer service about the toy.

I have two mutts that both adore these toys! Both are powerful and dedicated chewers. If they aren't chewing on the mints, they are chasing or licking it. I'm planning to stock up!

Very cute chew, but didn't survive first chew session. Our Labrador started playing with the mint this morning and it took him 20 minutes to start tearing it apart. It appears the swirls of the mint are glued/fused together and it wouldn't take much more chewing to demolish this mint.
