Good for summer party ware. Nov 09, 2009

I really hate throwing plastic ware away. I am a recycler by nature. I do use paper plates etc but that biodegrades. For a party though paper just doesnt measure up. It gets floppy and someone could get burned or ruin their clothing. So I bought these and they worked out. It was a challenge to explain on small signs that the playes shouldnt be put in a separate contatiner than the garbage. People didnt really read the signs (too bust talking, drinking having fun But I pulled them out of the garbage and washed.
They washed up ok. A few had to be washed in the diswasher. WE had ribs for that party so the plates were a bit greasy. I packed them up for the next party. I wish they washed a little better and were a smidgen thicker. I would pay a little more for more substance.
But overall very good and I will continue to use them for parties.
More color choice would be good also.
