Great toy but.... Jul 22, 2010 I really love this scooter. I read a lot of reviews before buying it, but I regret getting it because is too big for a 20 month old. I just got it because I read many reviews that was good for a 18mo old as well... Is heavy, to far from the ground. My daughter knows how to play with but because is far from the ground she can't push it and look ahead to see where she is going. But for bigger kids it is awesome, I have seen it with children in the parks and is very strong. Your kid can play with it for a long time.
Great Toy!! Jul 22, 2010 I purchased this scooter for my 4 yr old grandson. It is a great tool in teaching him balance. He wanted a skate board but of course, too young for that.I would recommend this to everyone if they have an active 3-5 yr old.

All plastic! Jun 22, 2010 My 5-year-old son just got a Razor scooter for his graduation from Kindergarten and my 3-year-old desperately wants one to be just like his older brother. This Radio Flyer is very cute but I am disappointed that unlike his older brother's metal Razor scooter, this one is all plastic! The front wheels are also pretty cumbersome to allow for fast turning and speed. Lastly, the T-bar is not adjustable and seems to be too tall for my average-size 36 pound 3-year-old.
It's a good first scooter with the large platform (be careful to tell your kids to step on the white Radio Flyer logo on the platform to avoid any tipping) and the 3 stable wheels. However, the lack of speed and large turning radius may become frustrating once a child learns how to use the scooter and wants to go faster.
not a great scooter for little ones Jun 04, 2010 The turning radius is terrible, it is unstable and difficult to steer. I wish I had not purchased one for my toddler, certainly not worth the money.

Junky Apr 29, 2010 The 3 wheeled radio flyer is horrible, it does not turn well and rolls poorly. Radio flyer justify's this by saying its for kids so I does not have to work properly. yet they continue to sell because of its name.
