Fewer Chemicals = Shorter Period! Feb 19, 2011

These pads are the best on the market. I used to use "Always" brand exclusively thinking only of things like leakage, coverage, etc. Then I found out that Always has a HIGH concentration of chemicals (chlorine being one of them) that cause women to bleed LONGER. Which in turn means they would use more of the product. I found this to be true. When I switched to 7th generation, my periods went from 8+ days to around four. This product gets my vote!

As someone who is experimenting with "going green" and using natural and environmentally-friendly products, I must say I am sold on Seventh Generation. Their feminine products, in particular, are comparable to (actually better than, in my opinion) the big brands you would find at a grocery store. They're comfortable, affordable (esp. with Subscribe & Save), and makes me happy to find a product that both works and is good for you and the earth.
This overnight maxi pad is great for those heavy flow days when you want to be sure you'll be protected. They are very soft and pillowy to the touch, and comfortable to wear throughout the day. The absorbency is great as far as I can tell (haven't had a chance to test them during the heavier days yet). The wings help it to stay in place so it doesn't scoot around. I highly recommend them.

Since I have found these I do not want to use anything else. They are so soft an comfortable that you forget you are wearing them. They do not cause irriation since they are organic and don't have chlorine. These thick overnight are preferct to use instead of poise or tena for bladder control too. * allergy alert absorbent material derived from wheat.
Now if they could just get the plastic outer bag replaced with an organic alternative , they would be perfect.

For the women who suffer allergic outbreaks from other sanitary napkins, this product is the one for you. The pads are very comfortable. I am very surprised how many women suffer from allergic reactions from sanitary napkins.
