5Correction! 18 Loads, Not 40 Loads!  Jan 01, 2006
By inquisitivetoo
A good product, to be sure...I've used Seventh Generation's other laundry detergents and have been very pleased. This "review" is however a cautionary: while it states on Amazon that each bottle cleans 40 loads, it is only rated for 18 loads. Just a heads up!

[note: I tried to notify Amazon about this but their system for corrections is inoperable at the moment. Thus, this "review"]

4I really like 7th generation products, but...  Feb 08, 2006
By Jasmine
I really like seventh generation products, but ordering online for mail/UPS delivery can be a problem. I had a whole shipment that arrived sticky, gooey, awful because some of the items had leaked in transit. Buy these products at your local Whole Foods or similar retail outlet. The price is not much different and they will arrive home in better condition. (Note, Amazon.com did refund all of my money when I complained, although I had to push for the full refund. I was initially offered a 20% refund, which was totally unacceptable.)

5Love it.  Mar 01, 2007

We only use Seventh Generation laundry products now. It is amazing how much better our clothes feel with these products. The baby detergent gets the babies very dirty clothes very clean in our front loader.

5Sometimes a little extra effort is worth it...  Nov 30, 2007
By N. Stephenson
I found the Seventh Generation products a few months ago at my local grocery store and have been trying out each product individually. This detergent cleans just as well as other overpriced baby detergents and I feel much safer using it on my child as well as the infants I take care of daily. Yes, some of the stains children manage to create are difficult and detergent alone does not work well. I came across this same issue with the other detergent also. I just use a little baby-friendly stain remover as I did before and see the same result. Except now, I have piece of mind that I am not only dressing the little ones in clean clothes but am also helping to ensure they can grow up and learn to wash their own clothes in a healthier environment. (As Seventh Generation's slogan states.)
