5Recycled Goodness  Sep 23, 2008
By Ana Mardoll
Seventh Generation Trash Bags, 30 Gallon / B000C7QZC8

I love these bags. They aren't as strong as the Hefty bags I switched from, but I don't feel as guilty on trash day - I'd rather use recycled plastic bags than regular ones. I use these in my big garage trash can and, really, they aren't THAT flimsy - I don't want to make them sound like anything more than a tissue will tear it. They can handle regular weekly loads, you just can't drag them over broken glass on the way to the curb - usually I will dump all my house trash into the garage trash can, carry the can to the curb, and only then knot the trash bag, pull it out, and lay it gently down for pickup. As always, I had no problems with Amazon packing and shipping - they seem to have it down to an art now.

5Great way to do something small to help the environment  Oct 29, 2007
By Rachel "I have a love/hate relationship with my credit card"
In the past year I have tried to really start being more environmentally conscious. While I have always recycled, I would also regularly waste energy. When I decided to really start buying more recycled products, I was always happy with myself knowing I was doing my part to help the earth, but at the same time it was hurting my wallet. If anyone reading this is in the same situation I was, DEFINITELY get these trash bags! I purchased the box and just keep all the extras in a storage unit in my building. It makes buying green wayyyy more affordable. As for what another reviewer wrote, I have not had any problems with any of my Seventh Generation products, whether I bought them from Amazon or in the stores. They have always been high quality and provided me the same results as their not so environmentally friendly competitors would have.

5Great bags  Oct 08, 2008

I've been on auto-delivery for some time now. The bags are fairly strong and the price is great. Also a plus in helping our environment.

5Great green garbage bags!  Dec 24, 2009
By J. Ross
Sure, they are a little pricey but they are just as excellent as any other brand and far far better for the environment. Even if you aren't a person who buys into global warming or whatever, it should be pretty obvious that creating less waste isn't a bad thing...

Glad they are recycled, but it's lost cause when you need to use a second bag when the first one splits down the side. Do not put anything heavy in the bag. They cannot handle it. Almost no tensile strength. I won't be buying these again.
