Nice and durable sippy/straw Jul 25, 2010 These are nice and durable. We have been using them for our toddler and almost one year old. Both use the straw. They are easy to clean. The only downside is that my kids drop them quite a bit and the handles look like they are going to snap soon from the falls. I can't find replacement handles online, unless you purchase the entire bottle.
Great product! Jul 14, 2010 We love the Safe Sippy Bottle. Great design and our kiddo took right too it when we introduced it to him at 10 months old. The only issue I have with the Safe Sippy is that it is difficult to clean. I had to purchase brushes to do so. Instructions on how to clean or maybe including a special brush for cleaning purposes would be helpful. Other than that complaint, we're happy. Oh and it doesn't spill! A pus since our little guy is always trying to pour the water out...
horrible product May 19, 2010 I have been on the hunt for the perfect sippy cup...I swear I have tried all of them. I wanted one with a straw b/c my 17 month old was heading in that direction, plus it is better for teeth development. My sister and a friend both had purchased this cup and warned me of the smell. I figured I would try it anyway because I am super clean. This cup is soooo smelly. I think if you are just planning on using it for water and juice you may be alright. I give my daughter milk at every meal so this is what I wanted it for. Plus the idea of the stainless steel keeping it cold left me feeling great. The milk must interact with the material b/c it produces a HORRIBLE smell that will not come out even when placed in the dishwasher. I still have the cup and it has been empty for about 2 months and it still smells. Other negative designs about the cup is that it leaks. The overcap does nothing to prevent this, it also leaks due to the small holes in the top. There is a plug to use for travel but you have to take it apart to put it in. I find this to be a pain b/c you then need to carry the other part with you. Also the protective sleeve on the outside gets liquid caught in it and this is also very difficult to clean and take off. There is even a little piece on the inside of the cap that must be removed to clean. I had to use the tine of a fork to get this out and put it back in. Seriously, don't but this cup!
If you are looking for a nonleaking, clean straw cup try the Foogo Stages, it is easy to clean, does not smell and has stood up to many many throws from the kitchen table~ they are also BPA free...a must in my household :)

Love Safe Sippy Feb 11, 2010 Our twins have used Safe Sippy since they were 11 months. Mom, Dad, and boys all love them. The Safe Sippy 2 is nice because it has the dust cover, solid travel plug, straw conversion, and the traditional sippy valve. My boys were confused by the the straw valve because they were so accustomed to tipping back their sippy. Not a problem, since they incluced a the traditional sippy valve also.
Love the old, not the new Feb 01, 2010 I absolutely love the original Safe Sippy, and so has my son. He still uses the two that I purchased for him when they first came out. I bought one of these new ones for my second son, and am not happy with it. I cannot use the handles without it leaking all over the place, I've tried and tried. And with my older son, 31 months old, he is so used to using the cup as a sippy that you tip up that he does not understand well when we put the straw pieces in that it is different and he tips it up anyway. I think it's too confusing...but I do believe this original product is the best sippy out there, so I still give it 4 stars. I will stick with the original thank you!
