Great product - horrible bottle Aug 27, 2010 The soap is great. As others have said the bottle is terrible. We put the Method soap into an old Mrs. Meyers bottle to use it. It's worth it because of the total lack of perfume and the effectiveness of the soap, but it's still a hassle.
so easy Jul 27, 2010 It is hard to find Go Naked Method detergent where I live, so it was fantastic to find it in a pack of six at a price I could afford.
I highly recommend "method Ultra Concentrated" dish soap Jul 22, 2010 Being disabled, I generally buy whatever's on sale at my neighborhood store because money is a real issue for me. But I was running out of dish soap, and figured I'd see what Amazon had to offer. As usual, I checked out only the least expensive items, and compared ingredients and Customer Reviews. People seemed to like "method," so I figured I'd try it out.
This product is called "Ultra Concentrated," and it really is. It takes only two or three drops -- yes, drops! -- to wash a dish. Some dish soaps I've used require one "pump" per dish. I'm amazed at how little "method" I've used in the time I've had it. It costs more per ounce than I'm used to paying, but will last many times longer than less concentrated dish soaps.
I'm not too crazy about the smell. It's probably the aloe but, to me, it smells like someone who's just come in from being out on a hot day. You know, that "humid" fresh sweat smell? I actually sniffed my underarms the first time I used it (no kidding). I'm getting used to the smell, though, and it is gentle on my hands (a real plus).
I don't like the bottle design, but not for the reasons given by most of the other reviewers. The bottle top is next to impossible to remove because there are two "stops" that prevent it from coming off. I use a pump dispenser for liquid soaps, so being able to remove the top is important to me. I'd also prefer a refill bottle, as opposed to six "usable" bottles, because I don't use them, and there would be fewer plastic bottles to have to recycle.
Some people have complained about the fact that "method" is colorless, but if you use a pump bottle it's easy to see how much soap you're dispensing. Personally, I prefer products that have no unnecessary ingredients.
All in all, I like this product, and will definitely buy it again.

Horrible design Jul 09, 2010 Yes, it is dish soap...slippery, wet, dish soap. The design of this bottle is almost offensively irresponsible. It is the OPPOSITE shape that a container holding slippery liquids used with water should be. Beer glasses are designed better. Shame!

Also love the soap, hate the container Jan 18, 2010 For a company respected not only for its "green-ness," but also for great design and branding, Method really failed on the design of this bottle. Very difficult to handle because of its size and shape, but also drips soap all over the lid and the sides. That said, I still love the product and will continue to deal until they hopefully wise up and change the bottle!
